About Steampink
The Genesis of Cotton-Candy Brass
Our Origin Story
Steampink emerged from a delightful collision—quite literally—at the 2019 Maker's Fair in San Francisco. When a vendor's cotton candy machine collided with a brass gear sculpture display, the resulting pink-dusted machinery sparked an aesthetic revolution.
What began as an accident evolved into a movement. We realized that steampunk's brass-and-brown palette, while magnificent, left room for whimsy, softness, and a touch of the fantastical feminine.

Our Mission
“To inspire a vibrant community to create, imagine, and debate at the intersection of antique machinery and speculative ideas, all through a playful pink-steampunk lens.”
